Slightly Better Haircut

It's the offseason. Forgive me.

I hate this time of year. Being in San Diego, the NBA might as well not exist. The NHL is on perennial lockout. Football is over. Baseball hasn't started. We have figure skating centerpieces in our sports section.

But just to keep me happy, I like to look at this. My Texas A&M Aggies were playing up in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at Oklahoma State a couple of years ago. Those kids were feeling pretty good about their team. Then we poured it on pretty quick, leaving the Cowboys stunned. And someone nabbed this gem. Here's to football season getting here with the quickness.

  • The first thing I thought of when I saw this pic was that this kid saw himself up on the jumbo screen while the song "Kiss Me" was on and was looking (in amazement) at who was going to kiss him.

  • That's hilarious. He does kinda look like him. For whatever reason, back in the day (I'm quite a bit older than you whippersnappers) there was a rumor that Mark-Paul Gosselaar was going to be attending A&M actually. I never knew why or how that started.

  • When I was at WSU, I think I heard a rumor that Jodi Sweeten (Stephanie from "Full House") was going to WSU. Never saw her, though. Except for in my dreams.
